Tangible investments know theirs stuff in many areas especially coins, They are thorough and courteous and even have you count back the coins to them after they have done it, just to make sure. Location is nice too, in Laguna Beach right off PCH and parking is not as horrible as you might think. Nice knowledgeable courteous people.

Honest and fair gold buyer.
I had a very good experience with the professionals at Tangible Investments. I had my gold appraised at a fair value with honest communication about the individual value of each coin. While I expected to get more money for my historical coins, I appreciated the time and effort that went into evaluating everything. Ask for Dennis!

From the moment you call them on the phone and you speak with Dennis, you quickly come to realize that this is a company you really want to do business with. Not only does he have a great demeanor, but their price quotes for silver cannot be matched by most coin dealers in Southern California. Don't waste your time by calling a lot of coin dealers to try to get the best possible price. Most dealers have an awful attitude and make you feel like they are doing you a favor. I was so impressed with the staff at Tangible. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They acknowledged me when I walked in and said they would be with me as soon as possible--there were 3 or 4 customers in front of me. But they have a nice gallery of things to look at while you wait. Once it was my turn, they told me the best times to come in if you don't want to set an appointment. I had shopped around a few places and they paid me quite a bit more than any other place offered me. I was a lot more comfortable selling to them than some out of town business traveling through or the gold buyers at the mall that offered me a fraction of what I got from Tangible. I had some jewelry and gold coins that I had inherited and didn't want to sell, but with the tough times that are going on I had to. I called several places before I found Tangible [that] wouldn't even give me a price range that they were paying for the coins or a price on the gram or ounce on the jewelry. So, I went in to several more places and was not happy with the offer and felt pressured to sell. Then, I found Tangible Investments in my local paper and their ad was very enticing. I called and they gave me a verbal quote on the phone which was more than 2x's what anyone else had offered me. Then, when I went in to sell my items, I got paid even more because the spot price had gone up. What a great company! They have other stuff too, like art, but I just needed to sell some gold jewelry and a few silver dollars to raise money for Christmas presents and bills. “Wow! Some honest coin and gold buyers in O.C.
I live in Lake Forest and found these guys in the phone book under coin dealers. When I called, I asked if they could recommend a place to sell gold jewelry and they said they do that too. Great! So, I headed to Laguna Beach and found a very clean, retail friendly shop right by the beach. Classy place and super friendly people. They told me what they would pay for my silver dollars, 90% silver coins, and even all of my gold jewelry. The guy at the counter spent at least 15 minutes examining, sorting, testing, and weighing my gold scrap. Then he wrote an offer and said I should take it to shop it around to be sure it was the best price. Fortunately, I already [had] asked around and Tangible was way higher [for] certain things, like dollars, my 1924 $20 gold coin, and the per gram gold prices. I recommend this place and wish I had more stuff to sell.”
